As a state property, the Forest is always open for school groups to visit. Please help us plan for your visit or alert us of any needs or requests by filling out our School Visit Inquiry Form.

​Day Use Only  Dawn to Dusk

Dogs Must Be Leashed
Dogs must be under control and
on a leash no longer than 6 feet.
Pick up pet waste.

Take everything you brought in with you,
including any trinkets, painted rocks,
food, garbage and pet waste

This is an Accessible Nature Trail
Foot traffic, wheelchair and stroller only.
For the safety of all visitors and forest health,
​please park your bike.

The Trail

​The Forest Ecology Trail is a self-guided nature trail that loops through one mile of southern hardwood forest. Trail surface and exhibits are wheelchair accessible.
